Squee! I've got my sampler top all done. It may not seem like a big deal, but if you've ever looked at my quilting (or someone better) and thought, "Gee, I don't think I can do that" that's exactly how I feel when it comes to piecing. Especially if it involves a lot of points!
Really, I had planned to do a border or two, but I just don't have time. Done is better than perfect.
Now to piece the back, baste, and get to quilting!
Looks great, love your color choices.
ReplyDeleteIt is fabulous. Done is better than perfect is my mantra too. However, this looks pretty perfect to me!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colors!
ReplyDeleteGreat job!looking forward to seeing how you quilt it. Love the colours.
ReplyDeleteIt's coming together quite nicely. I see the star is gone. Can't wait to see how you quilt this.
ReplyDeleteI like your butterfly center, great quilt! Yes, finished is always better than perfect!
ReplyDeleteLove it! Amy thank you for your fabulous quilting videos. You are a really good teacher and I watch them over and over.
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful! It can be so hard to let go of the idea that each and every quilt needs to be a masterpiece. Every time I start out thinking "this one will be fast and simple" I end up complicating it beyond belief so it drags out for months and months... It is discouraging to work on something forever without finishing it. Your quilt looks lovely as is, and no one would guess that you weren't a piecing guru -- those points look fantastic!
ReplyDeleteYou did a great job! This will be a lovely quilt and you have the fun part left!
ReplyDeleteNice work on those points :D
