A Pieced Sampler

Squee! I've got my sampler top all done. It may not seem like a big deal, but if you've ever looked at my quilting (or someone better) and thought, "Gee, I don't think I can do that" that's exactly how I feel when it comes to piecing. Especially if it involves a lot of points!

Really, I had planned to do a border or two, but I just don't have time. Done is better than perfect.

Now to piece the back, baste, and get to quilting!

  7. It's beautiful! It can be so hard to let go of the idea that each and every quilt needs to be a masterpiece. Every time I start out thinking "this one will be fast and simple" I end up complicating it beyond belief so it drags out for months and months... It is discouraging to work on something forever without finishing it. Your quilt looks lovely as is, and no one would guess that you weren't a piecing guru -- those points look fantastic!
