When I taught at Hou...This is an excellent machine. When I taught at Houston, one of my classrooms had these machines. I'm a Bernina girl so had hoped to use Berninas for all my classes. I had this one Janome class.<br /><br />This isa great machine for the price. It is very smooth (this was a free motion class) and quiet and easy to use. It has a unique combination of features that you don't normally get on one machine at this price point. MSRP is $1500 but you're never going to pay that. I was pretty impressed.Jenny K.
