Big question - when you "Sink" the 9450 into the hole - can you still access the button to pop the needle plate for switching plates and cleaning?QuilterGalMDhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11768745335773403948noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3445986501162780215.post-7527821462270418672021-05-11T09:33:43.621-04:002021-05-11T09:33:43.621-04:00This comment has been removed by a blog administrator.Davidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05883216921001046120noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3445986501162780215.post-73496314171096822332021-04-28T08:27:46.904-04:002021-04-28T08:27:46.904-04:00This comment has been removed by a blog administrator.D. When you push your leg against it, the presser foot comes up. Super great for re-positioning fabric and bringing up bobbin thread when free motion quilting. Some are mechanical and some are electronic. Mine is mechanical and I like it better than the electronic as it gives me more control over the foot. The electronic is either up or down, whereas the mechanical knee lift will allow me to lift it just a tiny bit, like when I'm fiddling with a corner of binding.Amy @ Amy's FMQ Adventureshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18249397590865683398noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3445986501162780215.post-53134205938244692762016-03-14T12:35:30.413-04:002016-03-14T12:35:30.413-04:00thank you for the pictures and comments!
