If I remember correctly from your blog, our kids are at the same spacing, but mine are a few years younger. (5, 8, and 10) It gives me hope that I’ll get more quilting done once they are all in school. But I can tell that you both have more talent, diligence to hone it, and an eye for detail than I might ever have. Though I’ll keep trying!

I cannot wrap my mind around how you get all that fine detailed work done on those giant machines!
Amy @ Amy's FMQ Adventureshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18249397590865683398noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3445986501162780215.post-32556766941069152882015-03-16T00:58:37.047-04:002015-03-16T00:58:37.047-04:00the banner turned out beautifully Amy! I too admire the work of Margaret Solomon-Gunn, and at Paducah in 2014, I had the opportunity to interview her about her ribbon-winning work, for the July issue of "American Quilter" magazine. She pretty much quilts all the time. As much as I strive to do work like hers, I don't have the dedication to make it the focus of every quilt I make. I like piecing too!

I'm happy for you to be sharing ruler work with domestic machine quilters. I haven't mastered it yet, but I sure appreciate having the tools here to use when I can. Keep up your lovely work! (After a good long rest from Lancaster, of course!)
