Craftsy News and a Newsletter

Hello, all you wonderful quilters! I am so stinking excited to let you know that I have recieved official word and my Craftsy class, Quilting with Rulers on a Home Machine will go live sometime this Monday, August 24th.

ruler work on a sewing machine craftsy class

To celebrate this class launch and to thank you for reading about my quilting adventures, leaving wonderful comments and encouraging me along the way, please sign up for my brand spanking new email newsletter on the right hand sidebar so I can let you know when the class is live and give you a discount code to get my class at a reduced price!

There will be no spam, I promise. Ever.

I am still at Janome Institute and learning a ton, so I don't have much time to devote to the blog as I'd like. I'll get back to a regular schedule Sunday so I can devote my focus to the blog and to my students via the Craftsy platform. I've got a few glitches to work out here and will get to them in the next few days: the newsletter doesn't seem to work for mobile devices and there's one other minor issue. The link you receive in your email to verify that you want to sign up will send you to a confirmation page that asks if you want to proceed to my site. The site it takes you to is my new site (amysquiltingadventures.com) which is completely blank. No fear, the blog didn't disappear.

  3. Congrats to you! Can't wait for Monday. Just used the line tamer to sew some criss crosses with the westalee ruler foot on my very first quilted by me quilt. Learned a lot by doing, like I need to use more patience. Looks tons better than I could have imagined. Thanks for your videos for encourgement.

    1. Hi Sands. You can sign up for the actual class tomorrow at Craftsy. I'll be posting a link here on the blog when it goes live that will send you to the right place on Craftsy and give you a discount.

Until then, I'll add you to my email newsletter so you will know when that link is available.

  11. I'm blown away by my good fortune today! I happened upon a wonderful video (that caught my eye, it was just below the one I was taken to watch...I watched the one using the amazing rulers & in a couple minutes, this quilter named Karen created a masterpiece block, I then went to her blog & several clicks later brought me here- your brightly colored block caught my eye, I know that block & now, it's another surprise! I've already signed up for this Craftsy class but haven't had a second to view its classes. It looks as though I needn't have concern that I'll lose focus, not get the rulers...I've been overtaken by quest to find out more re: that approach in quilting smaller sections at a time vs being shown one expansive quilt-top & no 'compass' Now I'll watch the 1st lesson to be sure it is really on the topic I hope it is! What a find, I'm happy for you as it must be a thrill when your class becomes available, 'out there'!
